The common version has no text etched around the center hole (a).
This disc can also be found with MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO HANOVER
etched around the center hole (b). In addition, there two variations with
MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO etched around the center hole. Variation (c) has this text
in characters approximately 1/16 inch tall. Variation (d) has the text
approximately 1 mm tall. There is another disc variation (not pictured)
with MADE IN WEST | | GERMANY on the obverse and MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO
is etched around the center hole on the reverse (e). This variation was
issued in the USA and in Europe.

This is just a bit different than the similar insert that come with later target issues
in that the coloring is more purple instead of blue on the spines and the lettering.
My copy comes in sturdy ridged-top two-dimple six-tab jewel case with "S7A" embossed on one tab
and on the back portion, inside bottom center. Twelve-prong disc tray embossed "9"
