MADE IN WEST GERMANY BY POLYGRAM
No disc variations that I know of. Note the lack of the outer mirror band.
Thus far, I have not located a copy with an outer mirror band.
Matrix number: 7599 25305-2 2895 608 01 *
Known suffixes: AD [SN], V [XB], [illegible]

Front cover of the sixteen-page booklet
Page 14 states "Printed in U.S.A."

Rear tray insert "Printed in U.S.A." with barcode.
I have yet to find a back inlay that was printed in West Germany, and there may not be one.
This same back inlay was used for all early pressings, including a West German non-target,
the Japanese target, Japanese non-target, and US non-target pressings. It is impossible
to tell which disc you are getting without opening the jewel case. Of course, if you
spot one in an old smooth-edged jewel case, there is a good chance you will find a Japanese or
West German target pressing. There is nothing printed on the reverse.

Notes: This target CD is quite hard to find, much harder than most Talking Heads targets.
It does turn up once in a while, however, so be patient.

Jewel case info: [U XB] ridged six-tab two-dimple, "52" is embossed on one tab, and "44" is embossed
on the back portion, inside bottom center. Eight-prong disc tray embossed "Patents pending 8.1"

[illegible] smooth frosted-top two-dimple case with "32" embossed on one tab and "33" embossed on the
back portion, inside bottom center. Eight-prong disc tray embossed "Patents pending 7.4"

(AD [XB]) heavy ridged-top six-tab two-dimple, "51" is embossed on one tab, and "43" is embossed
on the back portion, inside bottom center. Eight-prong disc tray embossed "Patents pending 34"

OTHER INTERESTING EARLY CD PRESSINGS OF THIS TITLE:

MADE IN WEST GERMANY BY POLYGRAM at 6 o'clock, no outer mirror band.
"Made in West Germany by PolyGram." at 9 o'clock.
Matrix number: 7599 25305-2 2895 608 01 * (same as the target)
Known suffixes: AL
After the target design was discontinued in the U. S., WEA continued to have PolyGram manufacture
this title, with the new boring label style.
The paper inserts are exactly the same as the target issue.
